Phase 1 Estimating & Sales

During Phase 1, you’ll meet key Hercules team members and get hands-on exposure to how we operate. You’ll complete your HR, safety, and system orientations, and begin  a high-level overview of our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that cover estimating, sales, and project management.

• As you meet the team and chat through bids, projects, and experiences, focus on how each part of the process fits together—from takeoffs and pricing to client communication and proposal prep.


• Listen, learn, and ask questions.


• Participate actively and take notes during your sessions to help reinforce what you’ve learned.​


• You will briefly review all Hercules SOPs to gain a slight understanding of the work flow. It is expected you have questions about the who, why, what, where, when, how and on your final day of week one, those questions will be discussed with your manager!


• By the end of Phase 1, you should have a decent understanding of Hercules’ workflow, systems, and estimating procedures.
