Phase 1 Estimating & Sales

During Phase 1, you’ll meet key Hercules team members and get hands-on exposure to how we operate. You’ll complete your HR, safety, and system orientations, and begin reviewing core Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that cover estimating, bidding, and project management.

• As you shadow estimators and managers, focus on how each part of the process fits together—from takeoffs and pricing to client communication and proposal prep.

• Listen, learn, and ask questions.

• Participate actively and take notes during your sessions to help reinforce what you’ve learned.

• By the end of Phase 1, you should have a strong understanding of Hercules’ workflow, systems, and estimating procedures.

• You’ll be prepared to review and discuss the checklist items covered during your shadows at your Onboarding Checkpoint meeting with your manager.
