
ONBOARDING
Phase 3 Estimating & Sales

During Phase 3, which will be your final two weeks of on-boarding, you will review the final half of our SOPs with the intent to operate independently by the end of this phase. You will integrate your understanding of the remaining SOPs into what you learned during the first two phases.
•You will review key Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that hit on the granular, but very important, parts of estimating and sales – insurances, labor requirements, wage scale, vetting etc.
• Focus on accuracy, clear documentation, and understanding how your estimating work impacts downstream project execution.
• You also will participate in a project debrief to see how estimates perform against actual results and discuss lessons learned.
• By the end of Phase 3, you should be confident in handling estimates independently, communicating effectively with managers and project teams, and following Hercules’ full estimating and handoff process.
• You will wrap up with a Final Onboarding Review and feedback session to confirm readiness for full estimator responsibilities.
