Phase 3 S&E

During Phase 3, you will take the lead in managing a full estimating process from start to finish, applying everything you have learned in earlier phases. You’ll prepare a complete estimate for a live project with minimal oversight and submit it to your manager for review and feedback.
• You will review key Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that cover defining scope when plans or specs are limited, inter-company quoting, time and material (T&M) tickets, and project handoff procedures.
• Focus on accuracy, clear documentation, and understanding how your estimating work impacts downstream project execution.
• You also will participate in a project debrief to see how estimates perform against actual results and discuss lessons learned.
• By the end of Phase 3, you should be confident in handling estimates independently, communicating effectively with managers and project teams, and following Hercules’ full estimating and handoff process.
• You will wrap up with a Final Onboarding Review and feedback session to confirm readiness for full estimator responsibilities.
